Niehorst Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Hi mates, I just tried the new 1.2.3 patch (in Su27) after a longer time on the ground. First thing I realize is that your flight members waste their fuel by using afterburners and airbrakes all the time in order to rejoin the formation, which never really works. They stay far behind me, even if I slow down. I observed a similar behaviour before while flying the Eagle, but in the Su27 I nearly never see my wingman over the right shoulder...:( The "close formation" order doesn't seem to work. "Line abreast" formation seems to increase the distance to my wingman even more. :helpsmilie: NZXT H400i case i9 9900k @ 4,9GHz (cooled by NZXT Kraken X62 4x140Fan - Push/Pull) Asus RoG Maximus XI Gene with 32GB G.Skill CL14 Samsung M.2 970Pro 1000GB ZOTAC RTX 2080ti Triple Fan 11GB 34" RoG Swift Curved TFT runs smooth like Beck's Gold :D HTC VIVE pro eYe (still freaking out!) Exorcet Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Yeah it's a big problem. I've seen my A-10 wingmen call Bingo fuel after flying just a few hundred miles. My tanks had plenty. It's like they have afterburners installed on their A-10's. What I usually do is takeoff, then fly very low and slow around the airbase until my wingmen form up. If you fly any kind of distance, they love to waste fuel.
