Radar System Off itself when change to BVR mode?

Hi,

 

I noticed that Radar System switches off when I change to BVR mode:

 

to reproduce this problem (SU27 instant action mission):

 

1. BVR mode

2. Switch the radar system ON

3. Switch to Close Air Combat Mode (make sure radar sytem is on)

4. Switch back to BVR mode ... (the radar system is off itself)

 

Should be like this, or the radar should be ON until I switch it off ?
