-Demon- Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Hi there, first of all: F... AWESOME Add on. I really really enjoy flying it. But I am wondering if the pedals function correctly. I expected the Huey to spin along the y-axis by pressing one of the pedals to its full strength. Is it normal that it stops spining horizontal after lets say 45° ? Any real Huey pilots around who can explain me that attitude? Many many thanks for that great Add on!!!! Nopileus Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Create a mission with no wind at all and try again. Wind does make the tailrotor less effective in some positions.

I already flew without wind. Any further suggestions? try to fly straight and then press the right or left pedal and try a u-turn without gaining height nor lose it ;) cheers demon [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Founder of the -=VDS=- http://www.virtual-dragon-squadron.de:pilotfly:
Nopileus Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 In forward flight its the speed that is not letting you turn further, the helicopter is aerodynamically designed to keep a straight flightpath while at speed. If you use the rudder in a hover you should be able to spin as much as you like (until you get dizzy)
-Demon- Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 stupid me...omg...yeah that sounds absolutly logical...I feel so dumb right now...thx for the eye opener! cheers Demon [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Founder of the -=VDS=- http://www.virtual-dragon-squadron.de:pilotfly:
