Raptor_77th Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 While flying SU-33 from the Kuznetsov and having winds set high and more of a pitching deck the front wheels go into the carrier as if the airframe is staying on a flat surface while the carrier model is moving around it. N Also the pitching is off with 100kts of wind (a CAT II Hurricane) depending on fetch area and time of winds over that fetch area seas would be much higher than the pitching deck denotes but this is varying on the situation. The deck in game is pitching with a rate of about 15-17ft long wave swell. I don't know if that is possible with this sim for sea simulation based upon the wind field influencing the water. Just passing on some of my knowledge from being at sea on carriers I know the Kuznetsov is smaller and will act differently than the Nimitz and Enterprise classes but I hope is helps all of you out.
