Logitect g940 Keymapping

I have been trying to program my throttle buttons 4 thru 8.The joystick I was able to program. But with the throttle if I want to add a command I click add and press button 4 but nothing happens. I cant choose the button from the drop down list because button 4 in the list doesn't map to button four on the throttle. Its the same with buttons p1 thru p8. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Are you sure that you selected the correct controller (the correct column)? Throttle and Joystick are there as separate devices.
