Hello,

I am new to DCS World. I purchased A-10C from Steam and used to play the standalone version (but still very new to the game).

Yesterday, I completely uninstalled the steam version. Then I installed the DCS World. Then updated to version 1.2.4.12547.

Now, after I downloaded A-10C from DCS website and install, it says:

Can't install A-10C 1.2.4.12179 into newer DCS World 1.2.4.12547

Please, download A-10C 1.2.4.12547 installer.

Where can I get this installer? How can I integrate my steam key into DCS?

I have read in the other post that I need to use module manager. However when I go to module manager, it tells me to buy A-10C. I already have a steam version.

Thank you.

Have you tried using the module manager inside of the game to install the A-10C module?

Yes. But that doesn't help. Cause according to DCS I don't have the game purchased from them...so the only option is to buy.

I did create a DCS account though and activated the key through steam when I played in the past.

I see, so it says "Buy" instead of "Install."

Hmm, that's annoying on ED's part huh? I guess there is no way to attach your purchase of A-10C on steam to your account from ED? If there was, that could solve that problem.

As far as you not being able to install the regular downloaded module, you might have to try installing DCS: World, AND A-10C Module BEFORE doing the update. There is a way to "downgrade" DCS:World back to a version number that would be compatible with the Module you downloaded, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that.

Thank you. I did open a ticket with ED. Waiting for their reply. A downgrade would be good, else I would reinstall and try your way. Hopefully ED can reply soon.
