clean new install - which files to keep??

Hey Guys!

I have all modules installed, custom cockpit-snapviews (those easy ones rAlt+Num0), custom monitor setting, a special export.lua, keybindings from hotas, and and and...

i remembered some lua files i had to set to true or false (i use helios, multi monitor, softth)

 

but i havent messed around with those files for a long time, so i do not remember all of the locations of the files and i want to do a complete clean new install of DCS World with all of its components. because i believe i have some problems doing all of the updates since beginning.

Ideally i install all new, paste those modified files again and all should be good...

 

can you guys give me a hand doing this?

If I were you, I would go for auto-update first.

 

Updater.exe gathers all user edited files into "backup.###" folder under DCS World. Thus, you can get your files in way way. Later, you do a fresh install process.

 

By the way, this is important; Don't forget to take backup the {Username}\Saved Games\DCS folder!
