Hi all.

I'm new here after getting back into the flight addiction after an extended hiatus.

Having issues w/ my x52 (not Pro) drivers & the Clutch function. Wondering if anyone has had/ are having similar problems & know a fix. I've tried Saitek service, but so far all I've recieved was "We got yer message".

Anyway... my problem. Clutch don't work. Or more precicely, it keeps crapping out. I checked the Properties/ Enable Clutch option on/ off, latched on/ off (via properties & profiler both), & it kept responding as any other button (no blinky/ no switchy).

On a whim, I tried reinstalling the driver (which I had just updated a couple days ago, software & driver ver 7.0.27.13)) over itself. Got to the test window & YAY! It was working! Switched to the MFD tab to see what default setting the Clutch checkbox was on... & it quit. No blinky/ no switchy.

GODDAMMITT!!!

Reinstall driver again. Working again. Beauty.

Start creating a A-10 profile, chugging along nicely, look down @ MFD & notice the clock is wrong. Go to Properties to set clock... take a wild guess.

Yup. Colorful metaphors aplenty.

I got to the point where I've copied the driver to my Desktop for easy access, but I'd prefer a more permanent solution than avoiding the Properties MFD tab (my memory is crap, I know I'll do it again).

If nobody knows of a fix, I hope my workaround will @ least be useful to others.
