ff4life4 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I was just wondering why the Huey in the sim is only capable of firing the rockets in pairs. After reading the Seawolves book by Daniel Kelly, and watching the youtube video from 7:50 it is stated that the rockets can be fired one at a time, not just in pairs. Is there any plans to do this for the final release. Would be very nice feature to conserve rockets, especially when only loading up with 14.
Flagrum Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) I'd guess that would depend on the actual type of weapon system that is used. What we have is not the only system for hydras. edit: but okay, the system in the vid looks like ours ... Edited September 14, 2013 by Flagrum
xxJohnxx Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 As far as I understood the system itself is not capable to fire single rockets. However, you could basically cheat it into that. As far as I understand (and I am not 100% sure to be honest) every rocket pod had a screw or something with wich you could adjust from where it starts to fire. Basically what you would do now, is set the right pod to 1, and the left one to 8. As you push the trigger it would send a signal to the launchers which would fire rocket number 1. however, as there is only one rocket number 1, it would just fire that. But as said I am not sure if that is correct. Check out my YouTube: xxJohnxx Intel i7 6800k watercooled | ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 | 32 GB RAM | Asus GTX1080 watercooled
