Will AI drop bombs?

Hello,

I was just trying to learn CA.

I had a group of F-15E's loaded with bombs but for some reason when I marked a target for attack the cross hair was RED? and all the 15's would do is loiter at the IP I set them.

I usually load out my AI planes with Mav's, Anti-Radar, or AA. and they all seem to work fine. But my planes seem to get stupid with bombs.

Any ideas?.
