AG-51_Razor Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Can anyone recommend a good tutorial for the mission editor? 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
AG-51_Razor Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 Thanks for the quick reply MadTommy. I did have a look at the manual and found it less than easy to understand. I also looked around in the forums for something just like the mission builder's corner but I guess I missed it. Thanks again for your help. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SlipBall Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I just had a look at the mission builder, and I find it very easy to use. Just created a basic simple mission, for me to get a feel of it. I think anyone who gives it a few minutes, will get the hang of it rather quickly.
SlipBall Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) mission editor How to: Open mission editor/click edit tab top left of your screen/choose add airplane/choose which aircraft from the dropdown over on the right side of your screen/left click on any runway to place your aircraft/left click any additional waypoints that you want/left click on another runway/edit the waypoints on the right side of you screen, making the first waypoint that you placed (that one is numbered #0) the plane as "takeoff" from the drop down menu/make your last waypoint "landing"/in the skill box over on the right side, choose "player" from the dropdown/on the file tab choose "save" it will ask for a name such as test.miz so type that in. On the left of your screen you will see a fly button. I hope this helps some people, really the basic mission building is very simple...:pilotfly: Edited October 7, 2013 by GT 5.0
tronchaser Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I've also found the mission editor fairly straight forward to use, what I'm having a hard time with is learning how to make my own custom LUA scripts for events and triggers.
