had to reistall dcs world but not updating

When I run dcs worlf I get this messge on the left side in the "link" section after it has loaded

 

DCS 1.2.6 update 3 is now available

We have released an update 2 to DCS version 1.2.6.19532. Please use the auto updater and Module Manager as primary tool for updates and module installation.

 

now I am guess i use the auto updater in dcsworld/bin

nothing happens.... just reloads dcsworld

If i run auto updater_apply I get" DCS_UPDATE_APPLY.EXE BASEDIR CACHDIR STOREFIR UPDATE_DB_ID"

 

 

 

Also I have blackshark 1 which I have installed and registered but when I download my 1to 2 update it says i serial is invalid:huh:

To run the updater use the shortcut in the start menu, the working directory needs to be the root "DCS World" folder, not the bin folder within it.

 

If you don't have the shortcut for some reason you can create a new one shortcut to the DCS_updater.exe application and then modify the shortcut as follows:

 

- Set Start In to to the DCS install folder, and

- add the word 'update' to the end of the "target".

 

For example, my target is: "C:\Games\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update

and the start in folder is: "C:\Games\DCS World"
