Googles Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Hello. Referencing Acino's instructional PDF: 3. Go to C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\A-10C\joystick directory and replace the "Thrustmaster Combined {insert your controller ID here}.lua" with the file from this .zip file. Make sure you copy your controller ID into the new file's name!! How can I find my controller's ID? I don't already have a Thrustmaster Combined file in the mentioned folder to just copy the ID from. I have seperate files each for the throttle and the stick and they have IDs but they aren't the "Thrustmaster Combined" ID. How can I solve this?
Hydrops Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Just in case anyone faces this same problem, I did and it took me a long time to figure it out, I'll post the simple solution here. Go to Target create a dcs profile put the path to " DCS World\Run.exe" in configuration ( I did but tbh don't know if it is relevant or not), you can assign a letter to a button in both the throttle and joystick so you can test it in event tester to make sure it is working Next start dcs go to options select a10 sim and assign any throttle and joystick axis in game options for example throttle and roll (make sure an axis from the throttle console and other from the joystick are assigned) so that both throttle and joystick consoles are recognized in the game. Next start any mission with a 10 C and if you now go to your C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\A-10C\joystick directory you will have a Thrustmaster Combined {your ID here}.lua file there. Hope it helps Hydrops
