Warthog Flight Stick not performing the axis tuning setting

I may have a hardware problem but I will post this in case anyone can advise. Specifically when I simply touch (not push) the stick for a roll left the aircraft snaps into a hard roll left..no dead zone and no curve. The roll right axis dead zone and curve work as set. I have the same exact problem with Rise of Flight and with Microsoft's FSX.

If it's happening with everything it does sound like it could be a hardware issue.

 

Try going to the Windows 'Devices and Printers' window, right-click on any game controller and select 'Game Controller Settings', select the Joystick - HOTAS Warthog and hit Properties, and then fiddle with the stick and see what Windows makes of it. You can also try going to the 'Settings' tab in that dialog to recalibrate it.

 

If you're seeing the same thing happen there then it's sadly probably going to be an issue with the stick itself.
