USCav Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I have DCS: World, A10C, Ka-50, and CA as Steam games. I have an old version of Lock On Gold with FC 1.1 installed. When I try to install FC3, I get a notification that I need to have DCS World installed first. As stated I have it already, as a Steam download. Do I have to also download the standalone DCS: World? I'm sure there's a better way around this than that.
USCav Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 You should only use FC3 with the ED DCSW download from the website. There's a way to sorta hack it into Steam's DCSW, but nobody recommends it. Btw, there's a new 1.2.7 public beta with lots of fixes and new features. Go get that and use FC3 with it, a simple install from the module manager. Simple enough I guess. Once I have the standalone DCSW installed can I download the modules again separate from Steam, but still use the same CD keys? I'd rather not bounce around too much.
