Why I can receive private message but not send

Title is self explanatory. Why can't I send private messages, or at least I can't see the messages in out Outbox.

Afaik this is not enabled by default. You need to tick a checkbox for that - either on the page where you send the message (somewhere at the bottom) or to enable it for all outgoing messages, somewhere in your profile.
