Rules
We ask that you please read through the entry requirements below, and the "About Us" page before submitting an application.
While we love to see new pilots join our ranks, not everyone will agree with our code of conduct.
Entry Requirements:
- 1) You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must have a working microphone. You MUST use voice communication during training and operations.
- You must be willing to work as part of a team regardless of your role. This includes whatever equipment you may be issued
- Official training sessions are conducted Sundays at 1800 PDT. You must be able to attend at least 2 per month barring any special circumstances. Attending as many as possible is strongly encouraged as we often try new things or tailor the sessions toward those that show up. If you know you can't make it be sure to post in the MIA/LEAVE thread.
- You must leave any other DCS group you may be part of before applying.
Once everything is complete you will be given the rank of Officer Cadet (OCDT) and placed in the VT-84 Training Squadron until completion of the training cycle.
All members complete the training cycle together, once a year. The training cycle culminates in a Recruit Evaluation Course (REC) for the OCDT.
Once your REC (Recruit Evaluation Course) is complete, you will have earned the rank of 2ND LT.
IF YOU ARE A OCDT IN THE 349th Training Squadron, AND YOU HAVE 3 UNEXCUSED ABSENCES, YOU MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP.
If this occurs, you will still be free to play on our server but will not be allowed to reapply for a period of 90 days.
All members are expected to uphold the Op4 Code of Conduct.
1: Honor, Loyalty, Friendship
2: Take responsibility for your actions and comments.
3: Respect everyone. This includes Op4 Members, Public Server Players, and players from other units. If you have a personal issue, present it to your chain of command.
4: Utilize the Chain of Command.
a: Follow orders. If you have an issue, discuss it later during an AAR or in private.
b: Conduct yourself professionally and play to the best of your ability.
If you are in a leadership position, do not abuse your power.
5: Training and Operations are mandatory. Post on the MIA/LOA Thread if you are unable to attend.
6: ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING! EVER! If you cheat on our server or anywhere else you will be banned and removed from the group. This is your only warning.
Violation of Conduct
Conduct Violations will result in disciplinary action. Depending on the situation the possibilities include...
a: Expulsion
b: A loss of position or responsibilities/privileges.
Probation.
e: All of the above.
