What CVW-2 is all about:
Carrier Air Wing TWO (CVW-2), a DCS Naval Aviation Air Wing, is a community of like-minded, adult enthusiasts who enjoy DCS by utilizing real-world aircraft, tactics, and weapons that the US Navy uses in support of global stability and freedom.
We are outcome-oriented, and enjoy operational planning at the strategic and tactical levels utilizing all the capabilities of our aircraft, our pilots, and DCS to meet current and near-future challenges both inside and outside of real-world tactics and procedures- but not at the expense of having fun.
CVW-2 Events:
Operations: Sundays @ 1900 ET
Air Wing training: Wednesdays @ 2000 ET, Saturdays @ 2200 ET
How to join:
Submit and application by clicking the link below & join our Discord server- we can't get a hold of you if you're not there. After that, a Personnel Shop (PERS-43 detailer) will reach out to set up a brief interview to discuss our organization, our policies, and your interests over Discord.
Following the interview and assignment to the RAG (VF-101 or VFA-125), complete the basic checkride within 30 days.
Following your checkride, complete Case I and Case III Carrier Qualifications within 30 days.
While in a training status, you are welcome and encouraged to join us for our weekly training flights, Fun Ops, and mission-level workups.
On completion of both your checkride and carrier qualifications, you will be assigned to your platform's active duty squadrons (VF-2 or VFA-151).
