Theater of War Planning Session

he Theatre of War (TOW) is a unique, persistent operation in which a large scale, realistic conflict is waged between 2 or more factions. The idea of the TOW is to utilise DCS as a platform to simulate a constantly changing and dynamic warzone in which the Fighter Wing’s actions directly affect the outcome. The TOW is broken down into several stages and is designed to give members a chance to look at things from a more 3 dimensional, strategic perspective incorporating cost, fuel and resources. 

These planning sessions take place on a Tuesday during the week of the operation in order to plan mission taskings, objectives, executions and setting up tactical assets etc. Every member of the wing can take part and every member has an equally valued opinion during these sessions.
