As mentioned in a previous thread: The story went something like this. Somebody had had a party (I seem to remember it was a bachelors party?) and the guy in question got stupidly drunk. So drunk, that they couldn't wake him up in his little accomodation block the next day, in which he'd locked himself. The guy in question had to take the CO's car to some base they were relocated to (as punishment for getting so hung over, or something like that), and during his little drive, the CO buzzed him, resulting in a bit of a ding to his own car! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/ARM505/Flattened.jpg I hope I got the gist of the stories right, the memories have diminished with time. To add some facts: the guy who told me this was a Captain on DHC6 Twin Otters at an oil rig in the middle of the desert. I was based with him, as co-pilot. He used to fly Buffalo's in Oman, which is where these photo's are from, apparently. I would love to get the full story again, as I'm sure my version is full of errors.

Static display panoramic In front of Sukhoi Su-33 Photo title: Distinction B1-B Take off (This was supposedly the 1st time the B1 had flown over Russian Skies) B1-B High speed pass #1 (notcie the vapor cloud and trails) B1-B High speed pass #2 (approx. 1000kph) Standing on a SA-6 SAM Launcher (needless to say everything seemed much bigger IRL) Day of Sukhoi opened with the before seen 3 ship Su-30(L), Su-47(M), Su-27SK® Mig-29OVT Landing after what was the best performance of the show! Definately one of the coolest sites! He did 2 (or 3?) spirals with the auto-flare on. By the end the you couldn't even see the jet through the smoke. "Swifts" Flying Mig-29 variants (notice the difference in the flare size between the Mig-29 and Su-27) Swifts again. Very nice flying by this group. Something I noticed about the smaller jets and particularly the Mig was the vapor trails on the wing tips were more extreme. (not sure why?)

У меня терпение лопнуло! Ладно, я понимаю, хоршая затея защищать игры, но не так же... Я стерпел, когда на компьютере у брата из-за "пип" старфорса не читались dvd-r диски, прекрасно, у него привод NEC кстати, но комп не мой и локон там пускать я не собирался. Но когда я скачал Sutter_Fix_RusCD.exe и обнаружил , что 25 из 27 метров занимает ни что иное как protect мать её ( или производителя ) dll, у меня только красочные эпитеты о ЕД в голово всплывать начали. Ну зачем так издеваться над людьми? Кстати, забугром LockOn: Flamming Cliffs прость купить нельзя, так как он тут никому и даром не нужен. Ни в одном магазине не видел ... о чем это говорит??? (http://www.amazon.de, http://www.ebay.de скажем, список могу продолжать, только мало кто остальные магазины знает) Если не нравится критика-удаляйте топик, мне плевать.

Товарищи разработчики, что за свинство? В патче который устраняет тормоза в сетевой игре у клиента, который весит 27,8 метра, 25 метров занимает protect.dll. Я даже догадываюсь что это за библиотека. Имейте совесть! Старфорсы тоже молодцы. Гадят этим, извините, дерьмом все игры нормальные. На мыло!

Это где это такое было? пока вроде собираются работать дальше. Будет, причем в ближайшее время. Все его активно ждут. :D
