It's not easy for anyone at first, to be sure. Just do our best with what we have. Lock on is about as good as it gets as far as visible ring, or whatever you want to call it. Can't duplicate human vision, but Team Smirnoff here is doing pretty well :) I will note however that there is a notable blind spot since FC It seems you can see others up close and far away but the middle of the range is noticeably much harder to find other planes. Depends on aspect/ background of course.
