  1. 1. When you switch to GRID mode (9) in a russian jet, you cannot get any other HUD display back, including NAV & all combat modes. The only time you can fix it is when you are in a frogfoot and you turn power off and on again. 2. When you have iron bombs selected as your weapon in a flanker, and you go below the minimum launch altitude (you get 'NOL' flashing and the pipper goes to the top of the hud), selecting a rocket launcher does not change the HUD. You must re-select bombs, and re-attain an allowed release solution in order to refresh the HUD. This is annoying because this is when you want to use rockets sometimes. Mostly actually. 3. It seems that AI tomcats set to excellent can drop your radar lock by flying straight at you and not maneuvering (or jamming of course!). This happens often in BVR engagements at close range as well as long, nose-on and without the player maneuveing, at all altitudes, and when the F14 is not lower than you even. Im all for AI planes getting out of lock but when they do it by magic it takes the pee, they may as well not do it at all.

  3. Hi, I'm testing this right now in one of Thomas Weiss' missions and it look like a couple of things are askew. For NAV info on the F-15 we've got five sources: 1. The HSI and its course/distance-to-next-waypoint indicators. 2. The HUD heading tape 3. The HUD heading steering index and assigned heading indicators 4. The canopy frame-mounted compass 5. The NAV block in the lower right hand corner of the HUD. I now see that the 90-degree error on (4) is well known and slated for repair in the next patch. So let's leave that out. What I'm seeing is that the NAV block info (5) disagrees with what is on the HSI time-to-next-waypoint readout. I'm going to fly the same mission and report back with more specific info.
