I have a caution panel and TISL for sale.

I have these two real instruments I got back when I was working on a Warthog pit but since I've moved away from that project I no longer need these.
Asking $250each + shipping or $450 for both + shipping.

I did have one, but can't seem to find it at the moment. However, I made it by blowing up the NATOP drawing like you mentioned so that does work. If I can find the file, I'll pass it along.

All these Panels are Dummy's for now, which mean the only look good.
And all the displays are meant to be backprojected. This will be much cheaper for the private Cckpit builder, to buy a decent Projector instead of alot of different sized monitors to place behind.
For the backprojecting to work on this cockpit, i will have to make some changes to the backcasing im sure, but thats all in the future.
Interesting... I'll have to keep my eye on what you come up with. :thumbup:

I rarely visit the site these days as all my pit-building is on hold until the Hornet is released. I can dig this panel out and get the measurements for you though. Would you prefer them from the real panel or from the panel I made?
Give me a couple days to find where I packed this up and I'll get back to you.

Frogger,
I did that a couple years back and they had no problem finding the page and then setting it to 400%. However, if you do want to simplify the process, just print out that one page to a new pdf file. I have the Foxit Reader installed and it did that easily.

Let me know how it goes. It should work. I was just using it today to make some panels in solidworks and didn't run into any issues.

Should have also mentioned when you go to print choose "current view" and "custom scale" set to 400%.

Digging up an old thread here but... I just ran into this problem with Adobe... I spent all day on it with no fix. If you're still around... Where you able to come up with a solution?
CTRL-Y should open a magnification setting and let you pick 400%. Then you can pan around the page to find what you need. This is what I did.

Impressive work! I especially like your method for making the buttons. I struggled with a good technique and what I came up with worked, it just took a long time to assemble them. I may need to convert to your way! :D

Thanks! It is probably the part I was proudest of. The Hornet has always been my favorite jet though. I served in the Navy for one (not tied to aviation unfortunately) and I love carrier ops. I would have loved an A-10 and F/A-18 sitting side by side, but I just don't have the space.
So this F/A-18 - any pics :music_whistling:No pics yet. Still in the planning/modeling phase. It's going more slowly than I would like, but there's a ton of other stuff going on right now. When I make some progress, I will definitely be posting some updates.

How many do you have of what for sale, pitbldr?
I only have the one of each. I was using these in my pit until I scrapped the A-10 plans. I've got a couple other people who have expressed interest if TigersharkBAS passes on them.
