Description
It is best explained using an example (same situation as in the track file).
Flying to a target area to drop two GB-6 in quick succession.
The jet's A/G programs are set up the following:
Program 1:
GB-6
Pre-planned with channel 36 (PP1) selected
Program 1:
GB-6
Pre-planned with channel 37 (PP2) selected
Expected behavior
Drop the first glide bomb with program 1 on PP1, change to program 2 and drop the second bomb on PP2.
Actual behavior
Dropping the first bomb overrides program 2's pre-planned point back to PP1, so one has to change it back before dropping the second bomb.
Additional information
This is not exclusive to the GB-6; The LS-6 also has this behavior, other ammunition not tested.
It does not, however, affect different weapon types. A GB-6 won't override a LS-6 program.
It seems like the override only occurs if the PP number is higher. So dropping on channel 38 overrides a program with channel 39 selected. But dropping on 39 does not alter a program with channel 38 and so on. bug.trk
