Thanks for your reply draconus. Yes I lose controls every time I start DCS. Could it be because I unplug my HOTAS after I shut down my computer ? This is what I do before I play DCS. Plug in my HOTAS to USB ports on PC. Fire up PC. Load DCS. Go to settings. Then Controls and load profile. I load the F18 Profile which I mapped and saved in the previous session. Are I’ve loaded the F18 profile I scroll down the controls (ALL) and see there’s buttons and switches allocated to both Joystick and HOTAS and some switches and buttons which I allocated and saved in the previous session are not there anymore. I hope I have made this clear for you. Thanks for you help.

Hi guys, I’m currently having a issue with mapping for my Thrustmaster A10 warthog. I went through the process of mapping my HOTAS for the F18 hornet and I saved the profile. When I start up DCS I go into settings and controls and load the profile only to find there is switches and bindings that have allocated to different controls. It is really annoying having to remap my HOTAS everytime I play DCS and its rather time consuming. I use one modifier for the hat switch. I use the hat switch for view slow and trim as I am awaiting delivery of my RIFT S VR. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No I don’t think so ? Should I ? I just map the HOTAS and save it. Should I map the joystick and save profile and do the same for the throttle ??

Hi Guys, after playing FC3 for the past 3 months I took the plunge and downloaded F16 (because of my fond memories flying Falcon 4.0 allied force when I was younger) and F18 hornet. I also downloaded Supercarrier and Persian Gulf map. My issue is I don’t know how to fly on supercarrier or Persian gulf because on the DCS home screen the Aps are highlight below but when I click them for instant action it’s just blank. When I go on to campaign there’s nothing there either. The 2 jets I downloaded are working fine. Am I missing something or could there have been a problem with the download? Any hell would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Guys, I am currently flying the A10 in Flamming cliffs 3 and I am always battling with the aircraft to keep it straight and level. I am using a TM HOTAS WARTHOG. When I leave the joystick in the centre the aircraft pitches up. I have check the axis in controls and everything seems fine. When I fly the F15 and leave the joystick in the centre the F15 flys straight and level. I am just wondering why the A10 doesn’t? Thanks for your help.

Hi Guys, I am new to DCS and I am currently learning the ropes by flying missions in Campaign mode in Flamming Cliffs 3. I am struggling to engage Mig 29s and SU27 before they get a good tone and fire a missile at me. I am getting a good radar lock in BVR mode and wait to be close enough before i fire but they engage me first. Does any have any tips or advice which could give me the upper hand. Thanks :pilotfly:

Good afternoon, I have set my HOTAS A10 warthog and I’m loving it. I have a issue when it comes to bindings on the Throttle. Is there a way of setting a switch to on by flicking it up and to turn it off by flicking it down. I am currently flying the F15c and using the APU switch for powering the Aircraft. I can set the switch to turn on by flicking up but it will not turn off the power which I turn the switch off? Is there a way of doing this? Thanks for all your help.

I tried to Calibrate, it’s not worked. Still having issues. It’s like the aircraft constantly trimming. I don’t have rudder peddles could this be why?

Thanks for the reply guys, it’s a new HOTAS and the PC does recognise it. Do I need to delete the TARGET software now I have installed it? I’m also having trouble with the stick in flight, so I’ve just don’t a flight with the A10 in Flamming Cliffs 3 and went the stick was centre the aircraft would be point nose up and climbing

Hi, I am currently operating DCS World and flying the flaming cliffs 3 campaign, I am currently using a keyboard to play as I wait for my TM A10 HOTAS cougar to arrive. I am currently having a issue how to fire missiles. I lock on to the target with a missile get a good tone and when I go to fire the missile I press space bar but it operates the canon instead of firing the missile. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :thumbup:
