Thanks for the replies! Here en-lies the problem. I would have to either upgrade proc $50-100 , or I'd have to upgrade MB+Ram+Proc $500-750 I just play DCS nothing else, I only need something that can sufficiently run DCS. Last time I flew it ran ok since then I went SLI with two GTX260's only $50 out of pocket for 2nd card and I got about $100 left to throw towards a proc. It's not that I don't want to upgrade to a i5, but I can't and need to get as much from what I got. ASUS M37N-d with 8 gigs of DDR2 2 GTX260's running SLI AMD 7750 Got to stick with AM2+ because I don't want to change Ram or mb. Any other thoughts?

I've been away for a few and have an aging but powerful setup. I'm thinking of upgrading my proc but only the proc at this time. I have an old motherboard and ddr2 ram so I'm thinking about the Phenom X4 9850. Unfortunately that's the best my mb can handle. Anyone know if 1.26 and or 1.27 use more than 2 cores? Thanks Psycho

Whats the trick in getting BS2 installed if you have the BS2 upgrade? I'm installing the correct module, but after it is installed DCS.exe will stop responding for 4-5 minutes then the module, whether A10, SU25T, or BS2 will load for about 7 minutes, then you will be frozen in the cockpit for another 2-3 minutes at which point you may start the game but at a astounding 1 frame every 5-10 seconds. Am I the only one having this issue? I have uninstalled DCS completely and re-installed several times now, testing each module before adding the next. Once I add BS2 the hole damn thing gets hosed. Any help will be greatly appreciated Chuck

Ok, I did a fresh install and tried the su25, that worked Then I loaded the a10 tried it and that worked Then I loaded the ka50 and everything is hosed again, it has to be something to do with the black shark 2 upgrade patch. I'm going to reinstall from scratch again and not install the ka50 until somebody fixes this. Very un-impressed :(

Thanks, I tried that but still no luck, still dcs.exe won't respond after 5 seconds. I even replaced dcs.exe with a friends and no luck. :(

I updated, now my dcs.exe won't run. DCS world will start in single player but won't run a mission. Training videos work and multiplayer won't start at all. DCS.exe just stops responding after 5 seconds. Funny thing is that after dcs.exe is closed it goes back to dcs world and the debriefing page for the mission. I've tried the auto-repair option with the game and I've tried re-updating the game. Nothing has worked. I even re-installed my DX9.0c, no luck. :(:(:(

Does anyone have a profile for the su25t? Are the controls and mappings the same as in FC2? Thanks
