  1. Okay....well that worked....that worked really well actually. So what is the point of TWS manual and LTWS then?
  2. Sounds about right. Either way though, I am getting real tired of all this missile stuff. I dont want 100% hit probability because that would be boring, but this 120 performance thing is getting ridiculous. It might as well be an AIM120 A
  3. So here's the kicker, if I turn chaff completely off on the enemy AI, the maneuver against the missile and the 120 follows them around attempting to kill them so I don't think battery life is the issue here. Launch distance and parameters are the same. I could have sworn the 120 had a 120sec battery life but I'm not sure.
  4. This was done on the F1 release update. Two bandits at 30K feet hot aspect over the ocean. I was at 35K-38K feet (multiple tests) and shot at 40 miles. The AI were set to rookie with ECM disabled because I like to have fun, other than that nothing was changed. The 120s exited loft and proceeded to not even attempt to maneuver on the targets the bandits did not react at all to the missiles. They didn't even drop chaff. Again, multiple attempts to see if it was just a fluke. Missile flight time was about 80 seconds max from launch to missing the target. Edit: I maintained TWS lock the entire duration of the missiles flight and never once lost lock. Edit2: Added track file. Edit 3 lol: Added track file with me in TWS. Most of my tests were in TWS except for the previous track file which I had to go make because I forgot to save it and I accidently left it in RWS. Same results tho. 5. Thanks for the response. Again, this was meant to be a fun idea/discussion as a result of my buddies and I just BSing in discord call. Were all looking forward to MAC and what it could bring in terms of flyable aircraft and overall fun. Not that DCS isnt fun lol.
  6. So here is an idea my buddies and I were talking about. What about semi fidelity modules. A hybrid between FC style aircraft and full fledge modules. An example would be an E/F Super Hornet, maintaining full function and clickability of the 3 MFDs and UFC, full HOTAS functionality, but ditch the rest of the cockpit clickability that is not vital to using the aircraft for gameplay sake. (perhaps keeping things like FLIR pod and laser switch functional). This may significantly reduce dev time resulting in us having more modules while maintaining the realism of using such aircraft. Just an idea for fun. Perhaps this may be the game plan for Modern Air Combat already which would be amazing.
  7. I read through the thread and it was really helpful. Solution from the thread paraphrased: Ralt+numpad 0 to reset your default camera view recenter track ir use Rctr+Rshift+numpad to fine tune head position while keeping your real head still Ralt+numpad 0 to save your changes again recenter track ir repeat until fine tuned to your liking.
  8. First screenshot is default when I turn on JHMCS looking straight ahead in good seating position. Second screenshot is where I want it to be by default when I turn the system on. As Ive mentioned before, I know you can trick track ir by looking slightly down and recentering the view but then the head tracking because pretty jank. If anyone has a reliable solution, whether it be a mod, reliable work around, or just knowledge that something is being implemented by ED thatd be great lol
  9. Are there any plans to add in the ability to adjust where the JHMCS display appears on screen? I have track ir and im tired of bore sighting bandits with my chin. I know you can trick track ir by looking down and then recentering but it causes some weird head tracking issues.
