Allow me disagree with you, but that's not the problem. I've already tested with a pagefile set to 32gb and fullscreen enabled as you can see in my first and other logs posted here. The last version that works for me is DCS 2.9.13.6818.2 , after that, it seems something changed in dcs core that's causing problems with background processes and/or processor cores management.

This happens regardless of how new the hardware is. There are several reports here on the forum.

Hi, Yes, I've updated it. The last version that works without freezes for me is the DCS 2.9.13.6818.2 dcs.log dcs.log.old debrief.log

Not , the pc freezes completely.

It starting occuring in the standalone version. With or whitout dlss enabler it happens. The preload Radiius is at 15000 because i renamed the dcs folder in savedgames, and then it create a new default settings folder. DxDiag.txt

On the main dashboard but has froozen in flight also on standalone version. It make no diferrence betwwen versions the core 1 running at 100% usage.

I've tried everything. Reinstalled DCS, installed steam edition (unbounded the modules), updated to windows 11, removed all mods, configured the corrects windows features, like disabling game mode, and so on. And pretty much everything else you can think of. I think dcs isn't managing the my cpu cores correctly because core 1 is always at 100% e then freezes the entire PC and i need to restart it manually. dcs.log dcs.log.old debrief.log

I have already turn off all these windows features and exclude the folder and process in windows defender.

No mods, no nothing. I installed the steam version to try fix it. Keep freezing several times when i switch to desktop using ALT + tab to manage others things like web browsers or windows explorer, in 2d mode and flying...It looks some problem with the backend process, something like this. Before. I performed the full repair and cleaning through of the launcher also after. However ,i rolled back to the DCS 2.9.13.6818.2 version while they solve this problem.

So, I had tested the core affinity , then you noticed that mask affinity. I'm fixing other issues: I changed the page file. Removed the mods I'm using other missions for now. I disabled the tacview at special menu settings. However, the 100% of usage core 1 still ocurring , but, i have observed that these issue only happen when i'm using the DCSMT.exe and not the dcs.exe , the MT version has more performance in all tests i've performed even thoug that the dcs.exe show that you are using MT. Notes: My pc is freezing completely in 2d mode and when i switch to the destop to use the chrome for example. (only in MT executable) I ran the cleanup and rapair on the launcher. dcs.log
