Good info! I was pretty stripped down, minimal stores, but pretty low altitude (10K feet or so). Just thought it was odd a plane with a top speed of ~1300mph would only get up to 600-700mph even at that altitude. Thought something was wrong with my settings or the game!

New to DCS, loving it!!! But..... For some reason while flying the F18 I can't get above ~630 knots. I'm at full throttle/afterburner (I can see the afterburners on external view) but it just won't go above that speed. Did some searching and found one answer to change "Game Mode" but that doesn't seem to work either. I checked airbrakes, etc. No luck. Any suggestions??? Thanks!
