  1. Archer.xd's post in Is IFF not working after the last update? was marked as the answer
Sure thing. Click IFF push button on UFC. You wont see anything on UFC, hold ON/OFF for about a second. Then it'll turn on and when it does you should be seeing this, and thats all you need to do :

And yeah I definitely agree manual could use some big updates.

EDIT in response to your edit 🙂 :

L+S INT is enabled by default, but IFF is not. So if you did a cold start, then you need to turn IFF on. But in air start, both should be on by default.
  2. Archer.xd's post in How to cancel HOB mode? was marked as the answer
That just means you have High-Angle Off-Boresight missile selected (AIM-9X). You can change the missile using NWS/MSL Step long press, or exit A-A master mode, up to you.
  3. Archer.xd's post in Added ACM Bump Function was marked as the answer
In ACM modes except GACQ and caged WACQ, commanding the current ACM mode again while tracking a target will drop the lock, ignore the original target for 2 seconds and lock another target within the search volume. If no other target is found after 2 seconds, original target can be locked again (if its still within search volume).

Bump in AACQ, while having STT on a target if you command AACQ (SCS towards Radar), radar will go into AACQ and ignore the original target for 20 seconds. During this search the logic is same as AACQ. If couldnt lock a target within this exclusion window, radar can pick up the original target again.
This can be used consecutively until desired target is locked. If A-B-C-D 4 targets are available, and you bump again after locking B, radar will reject both A and B and find C or D. Each trackfile has its own exclusion timer.
While in Bump AACQ (no STT, scanning), if you command Bump AACQ again, you'll be removing the exclusion windows on the same order you locked them. If you locked A-B-C and searching for D, each bump will remove A-B-C's exclusions in the same order.
  4. Archer.xd's post in Long freezes and micro freezes was marked as the answer
Hey, first of all welcome onboard 🙂

    - Using MSAA and SSAA at same time is not a good idea. If you are playing the multi-threaded client, SSAA does not have any effect, but in any case, it should be disabled because its very inefficient and outdated.
    - Tune down your preload radius to max. ~30k
    - Set at least 32gb pagefile on a SSD. Your problem is likely either disk or ram, or both. Make sure DCS is installed on a SATA or M.2 SSD drive. HDD will give you overall horrible experience compared to SSD. Since you have 16gb ram, I would go for more pagefile. But if you want a smooth experience long-term especially for multiplayer, you should upgrade RAM to 32gb.

Also, if you send a log file it would help us go deeper just in case.

How to send log : Go to C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\logs, then grab the latest text file, named either just "dcs" or "dcs.log"
    How to set pageilfe :

  5. Archer.xd's post in Apache MDF Rendering Bug was marked as the answer
That is not a bug, when you get a warning with engines it'll overlay eng page over whatever you have at that moment. Similarly ASE page will be overlayed if you have a warning from there. Manual reference : null

  6. Archer.xd's post in AIM-120 from my F-15E goes through the Bandit and never kills him was marked as the answer
This isnt related to F-15E. AIM-120 will struggle against maneuvering targets when its relatively slow, usually if below M 1.7-ish. In your tacview file its not going through the target, its clearly missing and thats mostly because it lost lock seconds before predicted impact time and lost a lot of energy when it reacquired.

40nm is a long range shot for a target that can maneuver and will. You can prevent the behaviour by simply firing at closer ranges.
  7. Archer.xd's post in Trouble using ACM to lock targets was marked as the answer
There are a few issues reported and already being worked on. ACM modes will struggle in lookdown conditions and/or if target has ECM on. You are not doing anything wrong, best is to wait for fix.
  8. Archer.xd's post in NWS button is sometimes a toggle, other times it is not was marked as the answer
You can toggle NWS on/off as usual. (UnDesg/NWS switch to engage - paddle to disengage)
And normally for NWS HI you hold down the NWS switch. But if your wings are folded, this becomes a toggle. Meaning you can toggle NWS HI by short-pressing NWS switch once. Disengaging NWS is same, you need to use paddle switch for it.
  9. Archer.xd's post in F/A-18 module not available since last update was marked as the answer
Have you tried running a full repair and removing the user mods?
  10. Archer.xd's post in No Bricks/Hits in GMT mode was marked as the answer
Thanks for the track, the reason is speed. In your mission units initial speed is set to 12 knots but rest of the route is 4 knots so they slow down. And your radar cant detect that kind of movement.
In your scenario I couldnt get the radar to spot them if they were below 9 knots. So you need to adjust their speeds for the rest of the route.
  11. Archer.xd's post in DL Question was marked as the answer
Not possible, only the aircrafts placed in the same group from the mission editor can be in the same flight. And you can't mix the airframes in the group.
