OK so I feel I should start this by apologising to @Reflectedas the below involved me tweaking a mission. However, the result was a new found understanding of aviation which I'm desperate to share. I love this campaign, especially the 2vsUNK sortie. To the point where I pulled the combat part out and into 'my missions' so that if i want a quick random dogfight i can jump straight into the action. The other night I wondered... could I fly the same sortie in an F14? How would it cope in this challenging mission? How did it feel moving from the F4 to the next generation of fighter? So I went into the mission editor, changed the player F4 to an F14a. Loaded with 4/2/0 and 70% fuel and gave it a go (note before you get big ideas yourselves you can't save the mission). This post isn't about how to change Reflected's missions (they can't be improved in my mind). Rather it's about the eye-opening moment I had seeing the generational impact of the F14. I flew the sortie like this maybe 10 times and each time it dominated! I kept the rules the same, waiting for VID, my wingman in an F4. I found myself changing my tactics a little as a result of the TF30s extra umph (never imagined i would say that!). The added visibility, the power of the radar, the increased maneuverability. It just made me appreciate in a way I have never fully comprehended, just what a game changer the F14 must have been. I guess I'm sharing this because this is why I love DCS, it gives an appreciation for the history of aviation in a way a book can't. Likewise this is something that Reflected is the pinnacle of. Providing that sense of immersion and helping us all get a better understanding of the past. Anyway I just wanted to share.

Hey ED team. I fully expect the answer to be no but if you don't ask........ is there any way to gift a module I own to another? I have some old Razbam modules that I don't and won't use anymore, and a friend who is keen to own and try them. Is there anyway to pass them across?

Ace thanks Greg

Hi Greg, this was working before the latest update as I flew this specific mission last weekend but decided to refly mission 1 (not the fam flight, mission 1 where Mac is 13). this evening the second pair of Demon 2 got stuck on the hold short for the runway with a soldier stood in front (not something I've seen before) The aircraft in front obviously took off with no issues on time and myself and the rest of Rocket didn't have any missed beats on the start up and taxi? Have no mods installed and as mentioned have flown this specific mission at least 8 times without issue until now.

Hi all, it's been a while since I have played in the Phantom but noted while doing the flight controls check the ground crew didn't call out rudder kick or neutral. Likewise on the stab augs he didn't call no movement for yaw although he did for the others. Just wondering if this is something new or just a random glitch for me?

Ace thanks! I'm off to the shop then!

Looks amazing and would love to purchase but please could I double check the module size. Have I misread 200Gb?
-
I had the same drop out last night. Have sent in a ticket with the log as was recommended above. Mine was also via VR while I was trying to solve an ongoing oculus issue.
-
It's V77. Have tried the above but hasn't worked. Also tried using the Bluetooth connection without cable but have the same issues, which at least demonstrates that its not the cable.
-
That's superb thanks! I will give that a go.

Thanks for helping my sanity!

Hi all, I think most likely I have a loose wire connection but as you will read something weird is going on to the point I am doubting myself. As such I thought I would see if anyone else has started having the same problem and its software rather than hardware related. A few days ago Oculus did an update. Since then it's started disconnecting momentarily and then reconnecting with the view reset to the right. It happens in such a way that would suggest its a loose connection. However, it only happens when I'm in the cockpit of an aircraft. Not in Windows generally, not in the dcs menus. Also in the cockpit I find it happens whenever their is a radio call (like I say I might be going mad), even if I'm not moving my head. It also happens randomly which feels more loose cable again. However when i am in the main menu or windows etc it doesn't seem to matter how much I move, jiggle the cable etc I can't get it to glitch. I have ordered a new cable already on the assumption its that but if anyone else has started seeing the same I would love to know. Thanks

Mission 7 question. No spoilers
Indianajon replied to Indianajon's topic in F-4E Red Flag 81-2 Campaign
Ace thanks. I must have missed that part of the briefing. Probably still boggle eyed from the last mission. Thanks and thanks again for this mind blowing campaign! It's on a different level and unlike anything else in dcs. -
Hi Greg, so have just read the brief and sounds like it's going to be a challenge. Question is how much is Jester, how much is me?? Aware HB have limits but also that you are a whizz. The other times I have done this have been using the HB workarounds. I saw there was another thing about this but as it said spoilers I didn't want to look.
