  1. We are now into September 2024, and still no update or fix for this problem?
  2. Thank you for this explanation, draconus! I just purchased the Flaming Cliffs 2024 update last night and and could not understand why my Flamming Cliffs 3 module was no longer appearing as a playable module even though I own the serial number and had worked properly before updating to DCS 2.9. It keeps sending me back to repurchase Flaming Cliffs 3. Very difficult to understand and frustrating.
  3. Yeah, I gave up a while ago and unfortunately they lost a customer. Make the process more intuitive! Why can't I simply "double click" an installer and bam! It just works. Especially if I already have the other games installed. Just my opinion!
  4. Holy cow! If that isn't a confusing statement!... I don't know what it is. I've spent the last 3 days trying to figure this out! I sure as hell wasn't going to purchase the game twice! And that is all I could understand you may have to do in order to play A-10 in the DCS World. You state to "Download A-10C 1.2.2 Module Installer". What is this and where do I find it? You also state: "When your stand-alone A-10C software is activated, your DCS Worlds A-10C module should be too when DCS world will be installed on the same OS." .............. I do NOT find this to be true at all. Thank you for sort of clarifying this mess for me.
  5. I already own the A-10C game. How do I install it into the DCS World game? I tried re-installing it into the DCS folder but, that didn't work. Are there instructions on how to install an already purchased game into DSC World? This is all extremely confusing. :helpsmilie:
  6. Hmm... well, I apologize. I didn't feel it was a wired question at all. I didn't realize it was a requirement to purchase a BETA version of any game. Which forum thread should I have been asking this question?
  7. Frustrating. Okay... I have finally gotten the DCS World part of this mess reverted back to the previous version. Now I am trying to install the FC3 Beta installation and it asks me for an activation key in order to install. I thought perhaps it wants my Serial Number for my FC2 install. Unfortunately, that did not work. Do I have to make a $39 purchase of another serial number in order to try this beta out?

  9. I'm receiving this exact same error, no matter what I do. What exactly are you guys doing to get the game working? Where are you selecting or clicking "run as admin"?
  10. Me either. I'm hoping we might see something by Tuesday for those of us who made our purchase on Sunday. You should receive an e-mail from support (if you sent an e-mail to them.) stating they are aware of the problem and doing their best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Real bummer, indeed! :(
  11. Same here. I was foolish and paid for the game before browsing the forum also. I seemed to remember having this exact same problem when the first version of Flaming Cliffs became available. It took days to finally receive my serial number! I just don't understand why the serial number can not be included in your intial purchase e-mail. I have a transaction ID and a receipt of purchase but, that's it. No serial number included with my purchase! This is extremely frustrating and might I add, a terrible shopping experience. I'm just inpatient and want to fly like the rest of you guys. For the record, my purchase screen looks nothing like what Nate posted. =(
