Are you shooting in LOAL or LOBL? The DIR/LO/HI trajectory setting only affects LOAL shots, not LOBL. If the missile can see the laser at the time of launch, it will be a LOBL shot. The missile constraints box will be large, instead of small like it is in LOAL mode.
