  1. mission clean up

    My dad is having some problems completing this missions,he says after he desstroys all the targets as instructed and lands that nothing happens.It keeps making him replay that same mission and I don't know if it helps but he says the instructor sometimes doesn't even call out all the targets.

    Thanks

  2. Both the following line in the .cmp file and the filename you see on disk have to be the same:

    file = "EnRes02 TankAttack.miz",

    I think this is necessary for English installations of BlackShark else it's getting confused in the game by trying to selectively converting cyrillic to english.

    I had to do both that change, and change the filename on disk from EnRes02 TankAttaßk.miz to EnRes02 TankAttack.miz and then it was OK.

    If they do both look OK, then erase and re-type the name in the .cmp file as the software being used may be displaying it wrong too.

    I'm still getting that same error
  3. First you need to get Modman (is it 7.2 that is newet?), then you'll have to select the mod package (don't unpack it after DL it), which then should give you the option to install it it.

    The model will be flyable, as it only change the external look of the aircraft and give a few new weapons. (unless we are talking about DCS: BS and not lo-mac/FC/FC2)

    Does it work in black shark?
  4. I just downloaded modman and read some threads about installing in a certain folder.I want to use for black shark so can install it in c programs or the desktop or does it have to be some where else.

  5. I tried it but it still seems to pretty dark,my dad flys in game mode and it doesn't work outside the chopper.When outside the chopper there is a big black spot covering the screen.If could be brightened up a notch and work outside the chopper,it would be perfect.

  6. bigdog4215's capturing of the error message before clearing out the temp folder was key. I don't know a good deal about about D3D programming but I took a guess that the error message meant it had bumped into something advanced it didn't know about.

    No problem, would be good if you can confirm if it works for you or not, as I'm sure you won't be the only one that finds themselves affected by it.

    To its credit, BlackShark doesn't just flip out and crash to desktop when this problem occurs but gracefully carries on, and on the other hand, a change in API version requirements would now mean that graphics cards that previously just had the sufficient raw power to play the game may now lack on the features front (this would probably become even more apparent by DCS:A-10C too, as I'm sure the lighting improvements I saw in the videos are going to mean the use of more modern shader tech).

    Not everyone affected by this in blackshark may even know it yet though, as night missions are generally few and far between.

    I'll try it out as soon as I can,my dad plays this game 24/7
