This past update really did some screwy things with my thrustmaster hotas x. I can play any plane that I have, (f15, 25t, f5e) except the 27. When selected, it greys out all of the commands and I can't do anything. When a different plane is picked, magically all the commands in the column become available and I can edit them. Any ideas how to get my 27 back? Deleted the configuration folder multiple times, and also ran repair multiple times, no fix =(

I am getting this exact same problem. DCS sees my joystick, but the column is greyed out. God damn it, now I can't even play. What to do?

This is definitely from the new update. I had a backup image of the version before the current today 7/15/16 installed and it did NOT exhibit this behavior. Only after updating to the latest version does it break. DCS PLEASE FIX YOUR JOYSTICK INPUT CODE!!!

I tried to use the virtual joystick as an intermediary filter, and while it shows perfect smooth operation, in both versions it is still a stuttering mess. I seriously don't know what to do. It is NOT a calibration issue. The stick is fine and works beautifully in any other application.

I think after the latest update, my joystick control has gone to hell. I am desperate to get this rectified. It is happening in both 2.0.2 and 1.5.4 equally. I am using a thrustmaster hotas X. In the device control panel, it is smooth as butter and perfectly calibrated, and works perfectly in warthunder and IL2. In DCS 1.5 and 2.0 the input appears to be "low framerate" as in 2 or 3 fps and not fluid like the other games. In the following video you can see just how bad this chop cane get, and when timed right, the game will think the joystick is still pinged to one extreme or the other while it's actually centered. I have deleted all configs, uninstalled the game, uninstalled all device drivers, reinstalled the game, tried with windows drivers + thrustmaster drivers. Is there perhaps a manual for this game I can read? Im seriously clueless about any of this stuff. I understand most of the flight principles but as far as what buttons im going to use the most etc, im just out in oblivion.

So I just bought lock on + fc1 + fc2 along with a saitek cyborg-x joystick, and to put it simply, I have absolutely no idea how to program the buttons to do the certain things I want it to do. Does anyone perhaps have a config/profile for my particular stick for fc2? Please, someone point the way for a noob to learn the controls best for this game. cheers
