  1. Flim, can you please explain how you have the base plate from the obutto set up. I only see 2 pre-drilled slots for the crossbar and regardless of how it is set I am unable to achieve full deflection.
  2. I have both the obutto and saitek combat pedals and unless you plan on doing some welding it will not work out. It is a chore just to get the pedals in place let alone any movement. Slayer, these pedals are very wide as well as tall (the toe brakes stand high even while angled at their lowest settings). This is really ashame because the pedals truly are excellent.
  3. I also have the saitek combat pedals and I dont see any posible way for them to fit and be usable. I was only able to get partial deflection (no where near enough to be usable after adjusting the angle of the toe-brakes) after experimenting with the rudder positioning under the monitor base. Does anyone have a possible solution or mod for this issue?
  4. Cali, thanks for posting those links, I am going to read through them. SUBS17, thanks I have had some success launching from high altitude, diving, going cold for seperation and repaeting. Ethereal, their altitude varies a bit but lets say they are at about 25k ft. I know 4 missles for nothing is a killer especially if I am carrying a couple of AIM-7s (no more amraam). I believe the tactics I am using will have to be altered based on payload as well.
  5. Hi everyone, I am seeking some advice on 1 vs 2 BVR in the following situation: 1(F-15, me) vs 2 Mig-29s(both set to excellent skill). What has been working for me currently is climbing to 40k+ ft and bugging both in TWS, then firing an AIM-120c at each plane at a distance of roughly 27-28 nm (slightly after burn through). The next thing I do is wait a few seconds and launch another AIM-120 at each plane (distance of about 22nm) followed by an f-pole but with a fairly steep dive until my last seeker goes active at which point I turn perpendicular towards the incoming r-77 until it falls behind me. The problem is what to do if both migs survive? Note: If I down one of the two migs with one of the first four missles, I can take care of the lone mig with the 2 remaining amraams. I believe that I am probably doing at least a few things wrong here and I would appreciate any advice on some of the more favorable tactics used in handling this situation. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks Raoul, got it working. I had to reinstall the saitek drivers and then mapped it in game. TeeJay, Surge, definitely better with the zoom on the slider especially in the su-27 when I need to quickly zoom in on the the stopwatch during an f-pole. Thanks
  7. I just added some hardware to my pc so I had to reinstall windows7 and FC2. Since reinstallation, the wheel on the back of the throotle no longer zooms in and out as it did before (did not tune it manually, the funcion was set to the scroll wheel automatically before). Now I am only able to tune it to the thumb wheel. How can i assign the scrool wheel on the throttle as the zoom function in FC2? Thanks in advance.
  8. Thanks Robin Hood, the mod is for private use as I find using the su-27 or going up against one armed with the R-77 to be more interesting. In addition, I believe there are a few public servers that allow the use of the R-77 on the SU-27.( I think someone posted it here a while back)
  9. Hello all, I am interested in how to mod the su-27 so that it can carry the R-77. I think I read a post regarding this once but that was some time ago and I cant seem to locate it at the present time. I am new to FC2 so a detailed explanation of how to acheive this would be greatly appreciated. Thnks in advance.
