  1. If you were really searching for "iWorthog", this is the reason why there were no results. The correct name is "iWarthog" ;)
  2. I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is connected to the VSync option being off in the sim options. Can anyone confirm/disprove this idea?
  3. I finally bought one this weekend am and thrilled. Have fun with it!
  4. In Addition to what Boulund already wrote, you can follow this popular thread to receive further instructions about the wiring of three IR-diodes : http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1856 This is probably the easiest way to assemble the Point Model, which I followed a few days ago with little experience in soldering. The parts set me back 8€ (not including the solder machine or wires). After getting the hang of the FreeTrack software, it works really stable. I'm using a Logitech C270. Although the camera alone - without modification - works very well, I attached with an extra IR-Filter I had for my photo camera to remove the visible light , this adds additional robustness to the tracking.
  5. @Fishbot: In the menu, you can set several hotkeys (tracker toggle, view center, reset, axes inhibitor) - You need to enable them first (and set a hotkey). I have set mine to ctrl+alt+a for view reset, shift+alt+a for tracker toggle. @Username455: I really only followed the readme: 1) extracted the contents to bin/ of DCS folder 2) fired up FTNOIR, loaded DCS.ini profile from the bin folder 3) confirmed that tracking works, the dropdown menu on the right should read FreeTrack 4) Started DCS -> quick mission Once the mission had loaded, the head tracker was on and running smoothly. I quit and reloaded the mission, then played through it and landed after success - with no crashes at all.
  6. I used the version of V4Friend in 64Bit and experienced no crashes at all. (Windows 7 Professional 64Bit, DCS-A10c 1.1.0.8 ).
  7. Do you have any suggestions on webcams for FreeTrack? Many models on their page are no longer available and I would like to try it out, but am unsure which webcam is compatible.
  8. This works great! I had to slightly alter the curves setup and removed the roll rotation (not needed for me), and it works smoothly and stable under 64bit!! :) Already donated to your project about 1,5 weeks ago and If it continues to work that good, I shall donate some more.
  9. I had a short look into the SDK examples and as Mnemonic (and the website) states Head tracking/rotation is currently not supported. I'm waiting for a new, improved version of the SDK. It would however be possible to incorporate the Kinect Depth Sensor with the existing regular video (= webcam) head tracking options such as FaceTrackNOIR. It would at least improve depth movement. Note that the Kinect requires a minimal distance of 50cm for the IR sensor to receive data from the emitter rays.
