For the same reason as others have mentioned already. Over all I like the viper cockpit better and it feels so much more responsive in acceleration. I absolutely love landing on carriers though so my DCS woykd be incomplete without the 18. If they release the full fidelity F-15 that will be a must buy in addition to what I own. I have the A-10 I have barely touched yet but will be fun when I feel like being low and slow.

I will try it again tonight but again I notice that the antenna icon dissapears *regardless of being online or not* and cannot be manipulated Prior to logging in or exiting the DCS user window. Ive tried it both ways - maybe it's a steam version disabled option ?.

Personally I would rather see less weapon updates and more core system updates. In other words less of the DED pages saying "under development." CRUS sub mode would be a big one for me.

That antenna option seems un available to me. The icon appears momentarily (cannot be clicked) until I log in or X out of the sign in window. After sign in or exiting the window with the X the Icon dissapears. Doesnt matter if im online or offline.

Will stand alone fix the offline authorization requirement ?. I am convinced I want to defect from Steam for this sim. I am a offline semi off grid indivdual who doesnt have the dedicated online oppurtunity that most have. These regular online connection rights to the product checks are a real turn off. When I have to log in I hopefully don't get forced into a major download it also messes up my controls and I have to reboot to get them working correctly again. I love DCS but this is a huge issue for me.

I am a little new still to DCS and noticed a comment upon sign in about how they listened to us and have thingd in store soon any idea what that will be ?. Funny thing is one of my most looked forward to things is probably the most boring and that is a functioning CRUS. I use it a lot for fuel effeciency and knowing if I will make it back home or not. Haha

Probably be the only helicopter I buy. The Apache is legendary and sexxxy.
