  1. For the sake of not starting another new thread, can anyone tell me if I can flip my instruments off after powering engines down?? I read that it might be possible in blackshark, just wondering how much can be done when ive completed my mission (as of now im just landing, power down engines, opening canopy).
  2. hey no prob hassata. thanks to both of you.
  3. hassata, is that 1000-1500 feet, or do you mean 15000? sorry, ive been playing with metric readings lol.
  4. Hey all, I've just begun the A10 campaign and im new to the game so im struggling with controls and tactics. If im too high, i get pegged by SAMs, too low, get chewed up by AAA... can someone point me in the direction of 2 things: 1) Some sort of training for combat which is more helpful than the manual and training videos (which I found were not very helpful). 2) Perhaps a downloadable "shooting range" style mission so i can practice outside of campaigns. Thanks!
  5. roger that, but does the number next to the steerpoint number on my hud symbolize WHICH airfield i've changed my heading to? what i see is something like "2.122.4" and under that is a distance. when hitting ctrl and tilde, the number next to the 2, ie "2.###.#" will change.... what do those number represent? Do i simply have to hit tilde until im on the heading with the least distance to travel (closest airfield)? to be honest, I dont even know if you were answering me or the guy who decided to drop a random question in my thread. thanks either way dude.
  6. Hello everyone, I just recently got my wings, so to speak, so pardon my noob questions. I was hoping someone could direct me to some help regarding navigation to airfields. When im in the air and switch to nav mode and landing mode, how do I know what airfield Im being directed to? I see that ctrl and Shift cycle my destinations, but how do I know which airfield destination is which? Sometimes I request to land and I soon find out I contacted the wrong tower. Lastly, I read in the manual (yes, I did read a great deal of it) that it is possible to restart a stopped engine (a hotstart?) given you have enough air moving through it. Ive been trying this in the A10 and have been unsuccessful, any tips? Thanks in advance!
