  1. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344901/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344902/ In collaboration with McKronenberg... an overdue release of VF-114 Aardvarks and VF-213 Blacklions are now live and representative of the two respective squadrons' transitional phase from F-4s to F-14s at NAS Fallon prior to their move to NAS North Island to be hoisted onto the USS Kitty Hawk(1977). Note: Have noticed only around 25-30% of people who DL'd from User Files actually got their livery to work as intended, so I'll try to make it clear here with better text adjustment options. The Commanding Officer's Jet(NH 101 for VF-114, NH 201 for VF-213) is mandatory for all liveries to function, please DL it with the link in both uploads' description.
  2. Forwarding this from the HB Discord. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u5AqJ6ztE8qv1MBScCOMPYR-a1S_wDF7/view?usp=sharing I put together a generic set of templates a long while ago, devoid of any of the squadron markings as to reduce lag on weaker systems. It has a password on the .rar: BuNO162911 Additionally, the templates are in .xcf format, which for Photoshop users, it will need GIMP to open and then re-exported into a .psd. I hope this may work well enough as a stand-in until HB manages to get their official one up.
  3. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3342007/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3342008/ In collaboration with Shmoo42... a heavily overdue joint livery release has finally arrived. VF-211 Fighting Checkmates and VF-24 Red Checkertails(later Renegades) now live, all representing their early 1976 transition to the newest Block 85 F-14As at NAS Fallon.
  4. Apologies for my absence. VF-211 and VF-24 are nearly done. We'll then be moving onto VF-114(technically already done) and VF-213.
  5. While I wait for a friend of mine to finish up 1976 VF-211, I've gotten started on the following release after VF-24.
  6. I could probably just have it as a separate download within my VF-1 and/or VF-2 User Files uploads. This one is done, but there's 3 more E-2Bs for the 74-75 timeframe on the Enterprise I plan to get done too. On top of trying to figure out what is wrong with the props.
  7. I... I'm pretty sure I pushed an update to the VF-32, but there's also a likelihood that maybe no liveries have gotten updates for a while now. Rather unfortunate if that's the case, I'll probably reupload the VF-32 CAG on User Files with a non-Flashbang canopy to download as a temporary fix. My apologies that there's still an atom bomb glare going on within that livery's canopy glass. It's not a mod, still the base game E-2D Hawkeye but I chose to apparently go the extra distance of making a 4-blade propped Hawkeye just for the sake of maybe a small handful of screenshots. It's not perfect, but I might be able to successfully get it down.
  8. VF-24 has been postponed for a little bit, but I do intend to return to it soon. In the meantime however, a re-revamp of an old squadron has been completed.
  9. The inside of the carrier has been cleared out to form... a strange parody of Frosty the Snowman.
  10. Aside from the very obvious squadron coming up next, I wonder if anyone can spot something different about these Tomcat tails.
  11. VF-142 has been approved and now available for public download. After a little break, onto the Red Checkertails. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3327599/
  12. My apologies, I intended to have it be a clean internal canopy and only recently fixed the issue, will push a patch to it ASAP.
  13. One thing I had to do is delete all existing squadron layer groups from the default HB Tomcat template. It's handy that you can use all the existing liveries as reference on the texture, but unless if your computer has pretty high-end parts, GIMP will struggle at times to do what you want it to. And honestly, using GIMP isn't really a limitation. All my stuff has been made using GIMP 2.10.14.
  14. Well, I guess I'll just go ahead and hang up my hobby. Appears that someone really dislikes my tendency of making full squadrons with the most accuracy I could possibly get.
  15. VF-143 Pukin' Dogs circa 1976 Mediterranean Cruise now released. Major thanks to @LanceCriminal86 for his provision of hours of extensive research. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3325226/
  16. Sort of doubting much can be found, but 1976. The supposed 5-6 month Mediterranean Cruise on the USS America, which the Cruise Book is apparently not available online. To provide a roadmap of what I plan to tackle, I'm currently going in order of Block numbers. Block 70: VF-1 Wolfpack & VF-2 Bounty Hunters Block 75: VF-14 Tophatters(collab w/ friend) & VF-32 Swordsmen Block 80: VF-143 Pukin' Dogs & VF-142 Ghostriders Block 85: VF-211 Checkmates(also collab w/ friend) & VF-24 Red Checkertails/Renegades Block 90: VF-114 Aardvarks & VF-213 Black Lions Block 95: VF-41 Black Aces & VF-84 Jolly Rogers Block 100: VF-51 Screaming Eagles & VF-111 Sundowners At least, this is what I have in mind to do. All the jets I hope to get done are each respective squadron's first batch of aircraft, not replacements from later on(unless if one was delivered in the same year from a very early and unfortunate accident).
  17. Need not worry, I'll get to VF-84's first 12 jets down the line. I was really just using Jolly Rogers as an example since they're the most fondly looked towards(generally speaking). Hopefully with some additional free time that'll be in my hands soon, I'll be able to redo VF-143 and VF-142. Need to adjust the overall paint colors, correct anti-glare shapes, and correct modex sizes. And hopefully also be able to include a bit more of the pilot names though the timeframe I'm looking at appears to be almost a void in terms of photos and documentation.
  18. So did he provide explicit approval for you to upload it though it's really just you painting over his existing work? By that sort of logic, if I were to decline making a VF-84 package, would that provide you permission to rip my textures from VF-32, paint over the existing names to apply new names(if gone to that extent), and paint over the tail in Jolly Rogers markings to then release under your name?
  19. Apologies for the unexpected delay, was given more documentation in the last minute that allowed for more completeness of the operators on VF-32's jets. We are now live. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3320398/
  20. Work in Progress, though it's a bit slow at the moment. Hoping to get things uploaded within the next week.
