MISSION DEBRIEF PROBLEM Woops sorry 16mb. Install well I loaded DCS world no issues game played ok. Recently added P51 module, and could not start a game.

Obviously this is a common problem but I get this from Frostie: "This guy has a crazy history of issues installing everything from Lockon to DCS. Just RTFM and installation instructions on the site. This is what consoles are doing to people.. well if you've ever seen the film WALL-E you'll understand, spoon fed." I was given instructions to repair the game and now I get this error: DCS HAS STOPPED WORKING I just got P51 and it will not run is anyone at DCS working on a fix for this???? My Rig: Intel i7 3775 CPU Nvidia 780Ti GPU DDR3 Corsair AsRock Z77 Mb Seagate 1 TB HD Windows 7 64

Sorry combined arms error: location not found (after start game icon clicked) SU25 will not install I get a continuous update dcs world dialog box.

Copy I should have included my system specs. I was beat trying to get the game to install for 3 hours. My system specs: OS Windows 7 64bit i7-3770k @ 4.0 ghz GPU msi 7970 (amd) 8gb Corsair DDR3 1600 HD Seagate 1TB 7200 rpm 64mb cache AsRock z77 mb ob sound Samsung 32 inch LED monitor @ 1920x1080 Games that run: Lock on Modern Air Combat ubi original Flaming Cliffs-2 (un-installed for DCS world) DCS World SU25t Call of Duty-3 IL2 Falcon BMS Free Falcon Wont run: Combined arms SU25

Thanks I guess I am the problem. I miss US Navy Fighters / and other Janes flight sims games that you could actually play.

They have no problem taking your credit card number. This undertaking is a roll of the dice. I can see a lot of lucky computer gamers out there running flaming cliffs with no issues Unfortunately I am not one of them.

Yes I did all of the above in the module manager. After I click the one-click install I get an error message stating I cant install to an older version of DCS world. As stated a continous circle of updated DCS world then not being able to install the SU25 module.

The game flat out will not install. Its a continuous update circle with an error after the DCS world update error saying you cant run the install in an older version of DCS world. $14.95 flushed down the toilet.

WHY? What is the correct forum????

FML Of course it the best $11.99 you ever spent if the game works? Me I got hosed the game won't install, It was like giving money away for nothing in return. This is another bad mark on computer gaming and why consoles will in the near future eliminate computer games.

FML Yea I wish I would have looked into this forum before I purchased combined arms. The game will not install due to a conflict with DCS world.

I get this error: Cant instal CA 1.2.4.12913 into newer DCS World 1.2.4.14196. Please download CA 1.2.3.14196 installer. I am not a computer programmer is there any way I can get my money back? Combined Arms looks good but I cant get the game to install.:mad:

This worked and the game is now 100 pct stable :) 1. In Dxdiag change sound acceleration to: Basic 2. In Catalyst (ATi 3d graphics properties) Turn off A.I. My thanks to the DCS Ticket system guys for getting back to me with a solution. BTW: what a game! It is such an improvement from the original Ubi Lock on. I hope this helps anyone else having problems running the game. I checked your DX specs, they are impressive and should run the game. I have a similar problem. I just gave up as I was spending all my game time re installing Lock on and system tweeks, It just got old for me. Good Luck your system should run the game. I have a really nice ATi 5870, it runs my other games, but for some reasons not this one.
