  1. But Rafale has also a lower wingload but wingload has nothing to do with sustain turn rate. What matter is lift to drag ratio and TWR. Wrong any delta wing generate lots of vortex lift especially the rafale wing with it's Leading-edge slat. Dassault had a lot more experience with Delta Wing than any one in the eurofighter team.
  2. Of course but a 53 degrees swept wing is going to be more draggy than a 48 degrees swept wing anyway when turning. A 48 degrees delta wing generate already a lot of vortex and the lift coeficcient of a 53 degrees swept wing is always going to be less than a 48 degrees swept wing whatever the AoA, speed and altitude.
  3. Wiki is not a reliable source and Dassault just say 10t class. The best website about the rafale give a empty mass of 9.35t for Rafale C https://omnirole-rafale.com/performances/ Strakes are far less efficient than close coupled canard. Mirage 2000 use the same things. Typhoon has a highter sweept wing so a lower lift to drag ratio than Rafale for turning.
  4. @ - Gero Finke and or TITS: Very Impressive stuff you did with the Typhoon but 2 questions: What is the maximum speed and altitude you have reach with the Typhoon ? Can typhoon go supersonic in a vertical climb (90 degrees nose up) like a space rocket ?
  5. Hi everyone, hope you're all doing very well !!!! It's my first time here. I don't know if it is a bug but since the last DCS update, I cannot pilot the M2000 the same way I used to. I play with a keyboard (no joystic or Hotas yet). When I want to pitch the aircraft, for exemple "pitch up", when I press the keyboard control "pitch up", the aircraft will start to pitch up and will not stop even if I stop pressing the "pitch up" control on the keyboard. Before the update, the aircraft will stop any pitch manoeuver if I stop pressing the "pitch" control on the keyboard. I had to always keep pressing the pitch control on the keyboard to continue to pitch the aircraft. So the M2000 is a lot harder to fly for me since the last update.
