Hey, Sorry if this is a bell end of a question but if you have Nav waypoints set up in the editor (say 4 of them) and you want to say bypass 1 and go to 3, How do you do it in singleplayer playing as the pilot.? I can see the waypoints in the RTE but when I press on the waypoint I want it only seems to be informational. The Hud marker stays over waypoint 1 until youve flown through it. Choosing the selected W/P and then pressing the direct to button dosent change anything either. If someone could give me a simplified way of doing this it would be much appreciated as Ive watched Wags's vids but if im honest, I end up more confused than when I started. Cheers.

No mate, Ive been taking off with Mil power, but thats definatly what its been, Ive just been too late bringing them up when Ive used them. Thanks for all the replies lads.

TBH. I think thats what its been. Ive just done a take off without flaps and they where fine right through the flight. so dont use flaps, even when heavy in this plane then.?

Its possible mate, but they dont go up after take off either. The outer flaps work as normal. or what I would class as normal.

I know this will be a Noob question but I bought this module today and the Short inner flaps (nearest the fuselage) are always down, Even when I raise my flaps using both methods (hotas mapping and using the flaps lever in the cockpit). All through flight they are down and I cant raise them. I know it will be something im missing or doing wrong but can anyone advise me on how to raise them. Ive yet to fly this plane without horrible vibration at all times. Thanks for any help.

Hi, Since the latest update Im getting loads of script error's but only in single player, Multi player seems to be fine but single is unplayable as the script error pop ups keep knocking me back onto my PC desktop screen and they come in multiples. Anyone else having or had this problem and if so, how do you stop it. Its never happened before, only since the last update. Thanks in advance for any advice or answers.

I thought that as well but from what I can see the prices are rocketing, both new and second hand. I bought an X52 new about 12 months ago and it was £120 give or take a few pounds. The same system is £200 + now and second hand is more expensive than when I bought new. The prices at the moment are ridiculous mate.

To be honest, Unless you have a top end computer, I wouldnt even think of VR. Of all the games I play in VR (IL-2, IRacing, MSFS etc) DCS is by far the worst optimized for it. I prefer VR normally but I play DCS with head tracking. Depending on where you live (Im Uk), there are relatively cheaper options to track IR too. Ive been using a trackhat for over a year now and to me it does exactly the same job for a 3rd of the price. Once you get it dialled in, of course. So dont be thinking you need VR to get the most out of DCS. In my opinion you dont. I do think you need a HOTAS though. Twist grip if you cant afford pedals to begin with but I couldnt play this without a HOTAS. I also found the Flaming Cliffs 3 planes a good bridge into the game as well before I jumped into the full modules. Less intimidating but give you the same flying experience and really made me want to start learning full modules.

Thats worked for me YSIAD, Thanks. Its a bit cumbersome because it doesn't seem to let me use a modifier from my hotas (x52) and i have to use a keyboard modifier along with the axis but i'll get used to it and its a lot better than the flickering. I understand what you all say about this being a Saitek fault but how come its only DCS its a problem in.? at least for me anyway. You'd think it would happen in all games you use the slider axis in if it was a wear and tear issue, wouldnt you.?

Hi. This is my first post on these forums so apologies if Ive posted in the wrong section or on something that has been dealt with numerous times before. I play DCS with head tracking and use the zoom view on a slider axis on my hotas a lot. The flickering is awful and very off putting and I find myself trying to find a sweet spot for that as much as anything else and even when I do find a sweet spot it never lasts long. Is this something that a lot of people get.? and if so is there a fix for it.? Thanks in advance for any replies or help.
