  1. Oddly enough.... swapped in 32g of crucial ballistic RAM today and boom. Between your settings and double the RAM I had before smooth and still getting 60 fps on the ground and down low and full 90 at altitude. I did read and article saying this game will revert back to using general RAM when you max out VRAMM. We'll that seemed to do the trick. Thanks a ton for your help!
  2. I have not done the lens mod. I just started researching it. That will probably be my next move.
  3. Your information helped a ton. Frames are better I am seeing 60 on the ground and 90 at altitude. Cockpits are still pretty hard to see and the stutter is still there. I did just order 32gb of crucial ddr4 max to upgrade to. Hope that helps a little. Also probably a good idea to unplug that 3rd monitor I had in the hdmi port to monitor gpu lol.
  4. The shaders are Lucas S version. Last updated July 2020. Those are the ones I installed. I deleted the fxo and metashaders when I did the shader reccomendation. Do you need to do that often? More than once?
  5. I just put in your exact settings and it's better. Still quite Pixelmator. I was able to get 50 fps on the ground , around 60 low level flying in dense areas, and 70 to 90 at altitude. Still that damn stutter though. Also I could see occasional black half moons in the top of the lenses. ( I wonder if I installed the shader pack from the optimization video wrong) as it's only been doing that sense I attempted that. JSGME and the programs I needed to extract those files were very tough for me to try to figure out. All this was done in a free flight mode. I was able to see the cockpit gouges much better and it never surpassed 93 percent VRAM. I HEAR THAY shader pack is a world of difference so I think I may have done that part wrong. But all in all an improvement with your settings.
  6. I'm mimicking your exact setting to see what ibget right now. Shame to build all this and have the visuals set all wrong
  7. Yes I did. Would lowering the native resolution on my main setup monitor help, as in, in the windows settings? I feel like powering a 3440 35" monitor, plus VR plus a hdmi supported predator may be asking too much of the card..
  8. Unfortunately the stutter is all the time. Frames are steadier in going through training modules etc. But the stutter is always there. In missions it's slightly worse and does max out VRAM. Multi-player frames are all over the place, only time anything is smooth is super high up.
  9. Alright some of geniuses out there. Please help. I've only been on dcs for about 2 weeks. I'm currently running an ASUS ROG GL12cx with an 17 9700 stock clock 3.6, 16g stock ram and an RTX 2080, with an HTC vive pro vr. I have read tons of threads, watched countless videos and I cannot seem to get the game to run smooth AT all. At altitude I can get 90 fps no problem, on the ground 40 to 45 consistent but inbetween in bounces around like crazy and I get terrible stutters. I've even installed the shader pack suggested (hopefully right as that was super confusing). What settings should I try? I can take the 45 or 60 fps if thats the best I can get but I still get massive stutter and it Max's out my VRAM. Please give me your suggested setting from in game visuals, to vr visuals in game, to steam settings, to nvidia settings. I'm losing my mind. We have an awesome station set up for flight simming and I just can't get it right. Thanks so much in advance guys. I really appreciate it
