  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is probably due to the lower air density at higher altitudes limiting the effects / stability the control surfaces can give out. I don't know much about warbirds but from my personal pilot training this seems like the probable cause. Although the aircraft are rated to go at such altitudes, for optimum performance you are probably better off flying lower.
  2. Honestly i think 30 Fps is more than enough for dcs. For shooters and other rts games 60 fps is vital however as with most flight sims 30 fps is more than satisfactory. I guess this is due to the quick mouse movements not needing to be accurate as they are just for looking around. Even though my computer is much more capable than 30 fps i actually tend to cap it to 30 to reduce the notability of game stutters. Either way i never notice the difference unless im playing a shooter. Hope this helps
