  1. Nope prevented me from clicking any box on setting to bind a control. Put .Lua extension back on and I can bind but throttle still doesn't work... o well
  2. Tks so much...will try shortly
  3. No idea what you mean. Hahahahahahaha I'm not a computer guy...... lol funny thing is the throttle works fine on my P-51 module no issues.
  4. It's shows the throttle moving smoothly.... weird... as it in game doesn't recognize mid range
  5. Orion throttle binds but in game throttle acts funny. It goes full open or idle. No smooth range. Any idea? Have video but file to large.
  6. How do you set the radar antenna up/down and the flir zoom in / out to the same slider? I have winwing orion throttle with the slew slider and when I bind it to both radar and flir only one works. Thanks....
  7. Thanks, I think I figured it out. When it said the free trial planes expired (I only down loaded the f16) it showed ALL my modules unauthorized access for some reason. I went in deleted the f16 module from module manger then restarted the computer. The wallpaper was still the default woodland screen, but my paid for modules returned-wired-. I was able to play in both single and multiplayer. I think its fixed...lol PS Growling sidewinder only had like 26 people logged on so I think I not the only one with this problem---lol Thanks for the quick reply.....
  8. Turned on gaming computer tonight to play and DCS loaded normal, but home screen was generic as if I just downloading the game. Then noticed ALL my paid for stuff is GONE! WTF! They show up in the module manager but not on the home screen? How do I fix this ??? HELP PLEASE.
  9. Has anyone had issues binding the "sliders" (two on throttle and two on the T/O Panel) to view options? I've used SimmApp Pro and changed sliders to three position and back again, but no luck binding to any view. I'd like to zoom in/out in the cockpit. Maybe look left / right...etc The slider are not recognized. Any suggestions?
  10. I just re-did it and it works. Had to hold it down and set and then hold it in the up position and set. Thanks a bunch!
  11. Yes its spring loaded to center and you can move it up then down it goes back to center. I'm assuming it's for the radar like on the real hornet. Thanks
  12. Is there anyway to bind the antenna elevation radar control to the winwing f18 throttle spring centering switch? I have configured the spring return to center rocker as a slider and three postion type switch in winwing software. As a slider I was unable to bind it at all; In the three way the radar carrot went full down or full up on the right side of radar screen and was unusable. Am I doing something wrong? Lol
  13. I fixed it by simply turning off the FFB on the options menu. The Huey is now controllable and fun to fly now.
  14. Update. After a few days with FFB turned off I can confirm this was the problem. The Huey now responds as I would expect it to, and is soooo much more stable / fun to fly.
  15. Spent an hour reading threads and I read about ffb in the options menu. I turned ffb off and the swashplate and stick are closer to one to one then they were. The huey flew better and a little more stable. This may have done the trick. May mess around with axis tune and see if that helps any.
  16. I've been working on my huey skills since I last posted. One thing I noticed while looking at the swash plate from outside the helicopter is a lag from my Pro Flight Trainer cyclic to the animated swash plate. This could be the oscillation / over controlling issue. Question is there any way to sync up one to one movement between "joystick" and the swash plate / rotor disk movement? Thanks in advance!
  17. I posted about the pendulum action and got some good advice, which has toned down the swinging and control. But, after more flying I can not seem to control the Huey the way I feel I should. I'm a helicopter pilot IRL, but have not flown a Huey. I have no problem with the Nimbus UH-1 in X-Plane 11 and would like to find the sweet spot for the DCS Huey, but the flight dynamics just seem sloppy. I've looked at videos on trimming, but the Puma Flight Trainer does not have any spring(s). I've tried with and without force trim, which I have used in real OH-58A helicopters-so I understand the concept behind it. In DCS force trim doesn't do much as expected. I really want to like DCS and the Huey but the flight dynamics seem to make it difficult. Any help?
  18. Messed around and find Sat Y at 80 with dead zones of 2 hover closer... thanks again.. I'll keep fine tuning it ...
  19. Great! Thanks for the reply, ill try that change in roll and pitch.
  20. New to DCS. Question on joystick setting in the Huey. I'm a helicopter pilot in real life although i have not flowen a real Huey. I have flown OH58s Jet Rangers AS350s Bell 47s and R22s. I have a puma flight trainer and I'm loving it very programmable. I'm having a hard time controlling the Huey as it is very sensitive; in the pendular action area. I have the force trim off and I'm familiar with force trim I've used it I'll on the OH58s. No dead zones programmed in setting at the moment. I have read all the posts on the fourms about this and have not found anything that explains this over exaggerated pendular action. Yes helicopters are unstable and initially hard to fly, but once you hit the hover button in training they do become more stable. Any advice on settings or tricks to make flying the Huey more enjoyable? Thanks
