does anyone use a soundbar?

Hi all, I have recently purchased ViewSonic M1 projector under 300$ from this list, found it very affordable. Now, I am looking for a soundbar or some external speakers to have a great sound experience in my home theater. What you prefer guys? Should I go with the soundbar or stay with some external speakers? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
