I just placed an order for replacement parts and asked for a list of available spare parts for cougar This is what I've got: As you can see there is a POTENTIOMETER HOTAS ANTENNA 270S2111 which lists a new part number (old ant pot was Potentiometer Antenna CTS 270XM8508) So you can ask them if it's a "new" direct replacement.
