  1. Will something like the Smart Scaling seen in the Falcon BMS simulator ever be added as an option? We have a pretty big problem with monitors and VR setups alike in that the resolution of the display is incredibly small when compared to the detail your eye can pick up. This is recognized by the Falcon team and they found a paper that previously stated this and proposed solutions (If one wants to read this paper for yourself, look up Serfoss 2003). The solution to this problem with digital displays is what Smart Scaling solves in Falcon BMS. From what I understand, this is a highly sought-after mechanic based on what I've been reading on Reddit forums and communities. Between playing DCS and Falcon BMS, the difference is grand in both A/G and A/A combat, you're no longer pixel hunting or relying on labels to identify targets and it's much easier to identify friends from foes and even the plane type. I would love to see something similar to Smart Scaling implemented into the DCS base game, maybe even with a slider or two to tweak it to your display and what you're comfortable with to control things like intensity and the curve.
  2. The thing I'm confused on is why it shows up to begin with, it's installed and all. Shows up on fast missions as well.
  3. Im getting some weird shadows, lines, and other not so great looking artifacts on my model. Included are the blender and model viewers screenshots. What causes these and how can I fix them? Able to provide more details if needed.
  4. Hey all, Working on my panther mod after a little bit of a break, and I've had this issue from the start but I kept putting it off, because I didnt know how to fix it. Whenever I hit Fly Mission with player selected for the jet in ME, it just reads out a warning, "The following module is required to install: F-9F." How do I stop this warning from popping up? Thanks all.

  6. Working on a mod, having problems with animations. First off, are there any specifics to the number designations of the animations in model viewer? Also, for some reason unknown to me, the gear is visually in the up position when it is physically out if that makes any sense. (See pictures) Is there a place I have to designate what happens when with animations or something? Or maybe telling the game which animation does what thing and how to correspond with controls? Thanks!

  9. I feel like I've posted on this forum way too many times this month so imma keep this short and sweet. I'm working on my first mod, and I'm having this problem where my model is backwards... It flies backwards. I've rotated it 180 degrees in blender and exported it again, but still nothing. Any help would be great.
  10. Trying to extract a Blender Model into Model Viewer by using an EDM addon (https://github.com/madwax/Blender_ioEDM), and I keep getting an error "ERROR EDCORE Can't open file '___.edm.ilv' from fs." when I try and add model into MV. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks
