User Files Upload Rules/Guidelines

Posting in the modding section assumes you have agreed to these rules.

1. Liveries and other artwork

1.1. are not permitted with inappropriate material added, including but not limited to:

1.1.1. Nudity (with the exception of historically accurate aircraft/vehicle art)
1.1.2. Profanity
1.1.3. National, ethnic, racial, religious and sexual discrimination including symbols from historical and current affairs (example: Swastika)
1.1.4. Personal insults or attacks on any group or individual within or outside of DCS Communities

1.2. work must be your own and/or you must have permission to use

1.2.1. When using work, templates or other assets from other users you should do your best to make sure they have allowed it or ask them if you could. (ED supplied Templates and Liveries can be used as needed)
1.2.2. Work from other games is not to be used directly in your work for DCS

2. Missions and Campaigns

2.1. are not permitted with inappropriate material added, including but not limited to:

2.1.1. Nudity (with the exception of historically accurate aircraft/vehicle art)
2.1.2. Profanity (If you do use profanity in your missions make sure it is clearly marked, if too extreme we reserve the right to remove the submission)
2.1.3. National, ethnic, racial, religious and sexual discrimination including symbols from historical and current affairs (example: Swastika)
2.1.4. Personal insults or attacks on any group or individual within or outside of DCS Communities

2.2. work must be your own and/or you must have permission to use (this includes all aspects of the missions including but not limited to briefing images, sound files, scripts, etc)

2.2.1. When using work, missions or assets from other users you should do your best to make sure to seek permission and give credit. (Eagle Dynamics free missions and campaigns can be improved or added to and uploaded here if you like, please give credit)
2.2.2. Work from other games should not be used directly in your work for DCS
2.2.3. Historical themes and storylines are acceptable keeping in mind the rules from 2.1.
2.2.4. Must not contain any controlled or classified documentation, including but not limited to screenshots, images, file links, copied and pasted info, etc
2.2.5. Missions and campaigns based on current affairs should consider the delicate nature of such events and not include graphic or violent images, propaganda and other material promoting certain ideals or beliefs.

3. Guides, Documents and Other Materials

3.1. are not permitted with inappropriate material added, including but not limited to:

3.1.1. Nudity (with the exception of historically accurate aircraft art)
3.1.2. Profanity
3.1.3. National, ethnic, racial, religious and sexual discrimination including symbols from historical and current affairs (example: Swastika)
3.1.4. Personal insults or attacks on any group or individual within or outside of DCS Communities

3.2. Are not permitted to use any controlled or classified documentation, including but not limited to screenshots, images, file links, copied and pasted info, etc
3.3. Must be your own work, and not copied from another user, game or other such source unless permission has been granted
